Currently our hours of operation are Tuesday thru Thursday 11am to 8pm, Friday 11am to 8pm, and Saturday 12pm to 8pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday (Hours and Days open may change).

Competitive wages based on experience ($11.00 to $15.00 per hour)




We are hiring experienced Food Line Crew to join our growing Irie Team! You must be comfortable with the public and giving exceptional service. You are responsible for the flow of ordering and service. You are serving food, but you are also an ambassador of our company. We expect smiling faces, positive vibes and positive attitudes!

You are more than just an order taker! 


Required Background

- At least 18 years of age

- High School Diploma or GED

- At least 6 months food handling/cash handling

Position expectations include and are not limited to the following:

- Greeting customers

- Communication skills

- Customer service oriented

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Answering questions about our food offerings

- Accurately taking orders with proper portions based on Irie Jamaican Kitchen   standards and guidelines

- Communicating with kitchen staff to properly stock food line

- Communicating orders for accurate pricing during checkout with cashier

- Cleaning food line and front of the house frequently. We pride ourselves on     cleanliness!

- Accurately key in orders to POS

- Keep an accurate and balanced cash drawer

- Answer menu related questions

- Stock drink cooler

- Pack Customer orders neatly to avoid spillage

- Maintain cleanliness of lobby

- Assist Food Line Server as needed during busy times

- Answer phone calls when not assisting guests

- Be able to stand for long periods of time

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Assist with other duties as needed to help the team

We are looking for ambitious Prep Cooks to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes.

A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team. 

Required Background:

- At least 6 months minimum, 1 year preferred proven experience as prep cook

- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen

- Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

- A team player with good communication skills

- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure

- Very good physical condition and endurance

- Ability to wash dishes manually

- High school diploma or equivalent is required;

- Training from a culinary school will be an asset

- Be authorized to work in the United States

- Must have reliable transportation

- Background check is required

Position expectations include, and are not limited to the following:

- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties

- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and     easily       accessible

- Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking

- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.

- Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.

- Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc.

- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking     out trash etc.

- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines

- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

- Be engaging, helpful, and quick on their feet



We are looking for an experienced Line Cook who has a passion for the food industry. This position demands the execution of recipes, attention to details, and a personal sense of pride.  The quality, temperature, and consistency of food on any given day at the restaurant is a direct reflection of the cook's work and ability. Ideally the cook has already worked as a Prep Cook and is experienced in the product flow in the kitchen


  Position expectations include and are not limited to the following:

- The line cook must practice safe food handling procedures, is educated on time and temperature controls for all food, and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area 


- The line cook shall know when and how much of any item to prepare and recognizes when prep levels need to adjust to business volume 


- The line cook should be able to quickly identify when ingredients or food is below standard


- The line cook should be able to communicate with the Kitchen Manager regarding all food related operations in the kitchen including par levels, inventory, quality, equipment, and taste, texture, and doneness of all menu items


- The line cook will hold the Prep Cook and Dishwasher accountable for safe food handling procedures, productivity, cleanliness, and proper storage practices



  Required Background:

- 1+ years of cooking experience

- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Training from a culinary school will be   an asset

- Knowledge of production and scratch cooking

- Self-motivated and has a passion for hospitality in conjunction with solid culinary     knowledge

- Serve meals in an attractive manner

- Must have a keen eye for detail and clean work habits

- Firm understanding of cost control and state regulations
